Terms and Conditions of the Callza Mobile App

  1. Acceptance of Callza terms and conditions
    • This document contains the terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) in terms of which Cocomobile (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2024/165902/07 (“Callza”), shall do business with its customers (“the Customer”) who accesses or makes use of the Callza mobile app (“Callza App”).
    • These Terms and Conditions are contained on the website of Callza and the Customers shall upon accessing the Callza App be deemed to have received due notice of, and agreed to, its contents.
  2. Privacy, Safety and Security
    • Data Collection and Consent: By using Callza, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. This includes, but is not limited to, location data, contact information, and usage data. Callza is committed to safeguarding personal data and maintaining user
    • Third-Party Services: Callza may integrate third-party services such as maps, calls, or other business-related features. Please note that Callza acts a platform from which you gain access to these services and these services and the use thereof are governed by the respective third parties’ terms and conditions, subject to the privacy policies of such third parties. Callza is not responsible for the availability or content of these third-party services nor for the processing of your data (personal or otherwise) by such third parties. As such Callza does not accept liability for any acts or omission of any third parties. You acknowledge and agree that by using Callza you.
    • Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to the software, design, and content of the Callza App, are owned by Callza. Users are granted a limited license to use the Callza App for personal, non-commercial Any unauthorized use of the app or its content may result in termination of access.

  3. Use of Geolocation Services:
    • Accuracy Disclaimer: While the Callza App provides geolocation services, the accuracy of location data (whether for directions or business locations) cannot be guaranteed and may vary depending on the user’s device, network conditions, or other factors beyond Callza’s or the Callza App’s control.
    • Location Permissions: To enable the functionality of the Callza App, users must grant permission to the Callza App to access their device’s location Such permission can be revoked at any time through a user’s device settings. Revoking such permission may however cause the suer to be unable to make use of the functionality of the Callza App.
    • Third-Party Services: Callza is not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or security of calls and or use of any geolocation or maps services or applications.

4. Business Listings & Contact Information:

  • Accuracy of Listings: While Callza strives to ensure business information listed on or through the Callza App is accurate, it cannot guarantee the correctness or timeliness of business details (e.g., contact numbers, addresses) as these are dependent on third parties.
  • User Responsibility: A user must verify any business information independently before relying on it, especially for safety-related matters (e.g., hours of operation, emergency services).

 

  • Calling Feature: Users should make the necessary enquiries and exercise caution when contacting businesses through the Callza App, especially with businesses they are not familiar

5.    Safety in Navigation and Driving:

  • Driving Warning and Compliance with Laws: Users should avoid using the Callza App while A user should park their vehicle and or pull over at a safe location before interacting with the Callza App if directions or information is needed. It is a user of the Callza App’s responsibility to comply with and adhere to any applicable local laws and regulations.
  • Distraction Warning: Using the Callza App, particularly the calling or navigation features, while walking or driving may cause distractions and could lead to A user should practice safe and responsible use of the Callza App.
  • Not a Substitute for Local Guidance: Callza’s geolocation features are tools to assist but may not reflect real-time conditions (e.g., road closures, traffic, accidents), and users should always use their judgment and be aware of their surroundings.

6. Communication

  • User Interactions: Standard call rates and other charges
  • No Responsibility for User Conduct: Callza does not monitor or take responsibility for user-generated or third party-generate content, and users are expected to use the Callza App in a respectful and safe manner.

7. Emergencies:

  • Emergency Situations: Contact local emergency services (e.g., police, hospital, fire department) directly in the event of an emergency. The Callza App is not a replacement for emergency services and should not be relied upon in any such situations.
  • Health and Safety Warnings: Do not rely on the Callza App as the sole source of information in critical

8. Limitation of Liability:

  • Disclaimers: Callza does not provide any warranty or representation whatsoever with respect to the Callza App, the use of the Callza App, that the Callza App would be error free and or the safety of third-party locations or businesses listed in the directory of the Callza App. Each user accordingly makes use of the Callza App at its own risk.
  • Callza and its affiliated companies are not liable for loss (including but not limited to direct, indirect, special or consequential losses), damages, cost or expenses suffered or incurred by a user of the Callza App or any accidents, losses, or damages resulting from its use of the Callza App, including but not limited to the use of geolocation services, navigation features, business contact information or calls made to any contact numbers.

9. User Responsibility:

  • Responsibility for Device Security: Users should take steps to protect their personal and or sensitive information, their own device security (including but not limited to updating their device software), ensuring the use of strong passwords, and being cautious with links or contact requests from unfamiliar businesses or users.
  • Age Restrictions: When using the Callza App, Callza assumes and accepts that such a user is of legal age. The user must at all times ensure parental consent is obtained if the Callza App is used by

    The Callza app includes advertising features as part of our effort to keep the service free for users and support ongoing development. By using the app, you acknowledge and agree to the presence of advertisements, which may be displayed in various formats including banner ads, contextual ads, or promotional placements.

10.1 Types of Ads

Advertisements displayed within the Callza app may include:

  • Banner Ads: Displayed at the top or bottom of the screen.
  • Contextual Ads: Based on app category, location, or general usage.
  • Promotional Listings: Enhanced business profiles or sponsored placements within the directory.

10.2 Ad Sources

Ads may be served by:

  • Third-Party Ad Networks: These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to collect non-personally identifiable information (such as device type, general location, and app activity) to deliver more relevant advertising.
  • Local Advertisers: Businesses listed on CallZA may choose to promote their services through banner ads or featured placements.

10.3 Data Usage

              Callza does not share any personally identifiable information with advertisers. However, third-party ad networks may collect and process limited non-personal data to improve ad targeting. Use of such networks is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

10.4 Responsibility and Endorsement

              Callza does not control or endorse the content of third-party advertisements. Any dealings, interactions, or transactions you engage in with advertisers are strictly between you and the advertiser. Callza is not liable for any loss or damage arising from such interactions.

10.5 Consent to Advertising

              By continuing to use the Callza app, you provide your consent to the display of advertisements and understand that ad content may change over time based on availability and targeting.

10.6 Changes and Removal

              Callza reserves the right to modify or remove any advertising features at its discretion, with or without prior notice.
